I'm a painter living and working between Paris and Rennes where I’m born in 1990. My artistic work delves into the intricate connections between humans, animals, and plants, exploring the boundaries of nature and culture, as well as examining relationships among various genders, classes, and species. My work is centered on the concepts of intersubjectivity and interspecificity, addressing the intimate experiences within the context of overexploitation and the ongoing sixth mass extinction event. In general, I try to explore intimate and political subjects in a poetical way. To express fear or anger but also love, tenderness and desire. I have a particular affection for the portrait which is largely due to my admiration for artists such as Lucian Freud, Käthe Kollwitz, Egon Schiele, Otto Dix or Alice Neel. With a dual curriculum in arts and humanities, my painting is marked by a profund interest in philosophy and poetry.
